No prior experience necessary; we welcome beginners through advanced dancers. Teams are leveled during placement. Instructors adapt choreography and technique to challenge each dancer while fostering growth, confidence, and proper form across eight-week sessions.
Rehearsals typically meet twice weekly for eight weeks, with additional tech rehearsals near the showcase. Exact days and times depend on instructor and level; schedules are provided at registration and communicated via email and the studio app.
Wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows full movement, clean sneakers or dance shoes, and bring water. Avoid jewelry, and come warmed up if possible. Specific costume measurements and footwear guidelines are shared before the first rehearsal.
Yes — family and friends are invited to attend the annual Dance Teams showcase. We sell tickets for seating, provide program details, and host a post-show meet-and-greet when possible to celebrate performers.
There is a nominal performance fee and potential costume cost to cover production, venue, and uniform expenses. Fees are communicated upfront during registration and may include optional extras like professional photos or extended tech rehearsals.
